I love the necklace your mom made you and that you make a point to wear it, no matter what. I don’t have the pieces my dad gave me (we were burgled) but I use the engagement ring he gave my mom (we couldn’t have gotten engaged without it, lol) and I’m so glad I have a piece of both of them to wear everyday, no matter what.
